We take the REEL Rack Clothing Project directly into communities, removing barriers to access and meeting people where they live and socialise.

By working in trusted, familiar spaces, we increase engagement, dignity, and inclusion—ensuring support reaches those who may otherwise be excluded or overlooked.

REEL Women - Prevention

WOVEN workshops are designed to reduce social isolation and strengthen communication, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Using recycled clothing donated to REEL Rack that cannot be used in our emergency provision, participants take part in shared sewing activities to learn practical, sustainable skills while connecting with others in a supportive, welcoming space.

Rise Up Women - Recovery

REEL Women - Prevention

REEL Women- Prevention is a six-week domestic abuse prevention programme, co-designed with participants to promote healthy relationships, self-esteem, confidence, and the five ways to wellbeing.

The programme supports Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council’s Domestic Abuse Partnership priorities, particularly around prevention, early identification, and early intervention.

The group provides a safe, supportive space for women to recognise early signs of abuse, including coercive and controlling behaviour, and to seek support before harm escalates. It also reaches women who may not feel able or ready to engage with formal domestic abuse services, offering accessible, trusted early intervention.

Baby Grow Wild

Baby Grow Wild is a four-week, nature-based wellbeing project for parents and babies aged 0–2, delivered by REEL CIC in partnership with Lees Park Eco Hub and Northern Lily.

The project offers a calm, inclusive outdoor space where parents and babies can slow down, connect and spend time together in nature.

Sessions focus on being rather than doing, supporting early bonding, mindfulness and sensory connection through gentle activities such as nature exploration, song and play. Baby Grow Wild also creates opportunities for peer connection, helping reduce isolation and support wellbeing during early parenthood.
